Hyatt Regency San Francisco, Atrium, Elevator, Monochrome, Long Exposure

ISO400, 23mm, f/16, 13 sec
The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA

Inside the largest atrium lobby in the world and one of the most incredible architectural interiors I have ever seen.  Surprisingly, I ventured to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco not for the interior, but for the incredible view of the Ferry Building across the street.

This view from the eastern end of the building is a conglomeration of lines – converging, diverging, horizontal, vertical, diagonal.  The center capsule is movement of one elevator during the 13 second exposure.

Listing of photograph(s) from this day’s San Francisco daytrip:

EXIF data: Nikon D7000, center-weighted metering mode, 23mm, ISO 400, 13 sec, f/16
