Sac County, Empty Road, Powerlines, Monochrome

ISO100, 120mm, f/16, 0.6 sec
Rancho Seco, CA

Standing in the middle of a country road may seem like a good idea until you realize you may only have 15 seconds to get out of the way from speeding cars from behind.  Luckily, none decided to appear at the moment I was kneeling down on the road for this shot.

This may be the only post for this week as there are two pressing photo processing deadlines I have to meet for week, one for a client request and another for competition entry.  So if there are no further posts for the next 5 days, I will be back with a new post next Monday!  Have a great week!

EXIF data: Nikon D7000, center weighted metering mode, ISO 100, 120mm, f/16, 0.8 sec

  1. Intentionally grainy. Road wasn’t as straight and smooth as I expected and lots of sky with no clouds, so grain was amped up a bit. I was actually here “on assignment” but the scene wasn’t good so I snapped a few random shots of the road.
