Pulling out another image from a month ago in San Francisco. Does the image look a bit dark? It is intentionally so. Your vision should pick out the lit areas, including the foreground elements, and slowly pick its way through the composition.
Anyhow, I have been on a bit of a posting hiatus. Real work, friends, and fun sometimes gets in the way of shooting. Then there’s been the awfully cold weather. Cold even for Northern California standards. With all the dinners, outings, and long days at work, that motivation to stand around in the dark in 20-30*F evenings just isn’t there sometimes!
