It was great to be able to take a few moments from the hustle and bustle of this holiday season and slow down. To be able to watch the golden light turn peach and blue was part of the reason the 30 minutes were memorable. Within these 30 minutes, folks on bicycles, families out for a walk, and even those that were clearly homeless would stop on the bridge to admire the sights, and wish me a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holidays. One gentleman clearly down on his luck remarked to me we are all so lucky to have this view that we sometimes take for granted.
