I would not have imagined that after striking out at the initial location for sunset photography, the best shot of the day would come from 3 teenage guys taking selfies, noting how this was a perfect spot for an “Insta”, and one guy running out of battery on his cell just as he was about to get the perfect shot. At least they enjoyed the sunset, probably got a few great shots to put on Insta, and I (despite my own laziness and wanting to get home) setup my camera and tripod for a few final shots.
Though you can’t see it on the blog version of the photograph, when I zoomed in on the cell phone, I could see the pose of the guy on the right on the cell phone’s screen.
Sometimes, if you are patient and wait long enough, there may just a final shot to take before heading off.
