Another throwback photograph from long ago. This little frog, no bigger than a quarter, was one of a handful I would occasionally see on the property. They would be either sitting on leaves, like this, or attached to the side of the house or garage door. Though I did not live in a high moisture climate, having a golf course hole with a lake one street over certainly provided the environment for these little amphibians to thrive. A few even made their home in one of my partially buried irrigation value boxes. I would open the lid to the box and 4 or 5 frogs would scatter deeper underground.
