El Dorado Hills (CA), Antenna, Anchor Wires, Sunset

There are times when a decent sunset is enhanced by increasing the vibrance or saturation in post, this is not one of those times.  Clear skies in the dead of a warm winter results in a colorful sunset.  An interesting element of this photograph is the center is lighter (or brighter).  Perhaps an artifact of the lens or maybe it was just brighter.

    1. Thank you James. This photograph was well worth the 15 minutes hiking up a small hill after work. Even though there’s a multi-lane highway nearby (and one of the real reasons I was even up there to begin with) it’s that peaceful solitude amongst the light din of traffic that I enjoy. And then picking my way between loose rock here and there on the way back downhill in the dark with a headlamp. 🙂
