Strange that I do not remember seeing all the colors in the broken safety glass when taking this photograph.

It started with taking a road to the vernal pools, but finding the water non-existent with the dry winter this year, I was drawn to the abandoned facility a few steps away. Surrounded by chain linked fence topped with concertina wire, yet the front fence was long ago torn open. All the buildings were vandalized, exteriors covered in graffiti, and windows broken.
I suspected this was a former weapons depot and found out later this was also dog training facility/kennel for the nearby decommissioned Air Force base.

That glass is very nice – it’s almost gem-like!

I was pleasantly surprised by the colors when I opened up the image in Lightroom. I do believe the colors is from the graffiti sprayed on either the outside or inside (or both).

I had to come back to CA to deal with some health issues. Hoping to make it back by the end of the year though.
